The R&TTE Directive establishes a regulatory framework for placing on the market and putting into service of radio equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment (R&TTE) in the Community. Excluded are radio equipments capable to only receive sound and television broadcasting, some governmental ones, and a few types covered by other Community instruments
